The New Victoria Theatre opened in 1992 and established itself as one of the foremost theatres in the South East. Boasting state of the art facilities, excellent acoustics and clear sight lines it has hosted first class theatre from the likes of the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre and the Peter Hall Company.

Venue Access Information
There are nine wheelchair spaces in the back row of the Royal Circle and one wheelchair space in the Stalls. It is advisable to book wheelchair spaces in advance. There is level access to the Box Office, bars, toilets and back row of the Royal Circle. There is lift access to the stalls. The Upper Circle is only accessible via stairs.
The New Victoria Theatre auditorium is equipped with Sennheiser MobileConnect WiFi sound amplification system. MobileConnect uses WiFi to deliver superior quality audio to a smart device such as an iPod or iPhone, either through headphones or via a necklace for hearing aid users. Devices can be booked via the box office in advance, alternatively patrons can download the Sennheiser MobileConnect app and use their own device.
The New Victoria Theatre are members of the Sunflower Lanyard Scheme. We support anyone with hidden disabilities or who may require more support and assistance during their visit to the theatre. Sunflower Lanyards may be collected from our Box Office free of charge.
Induction Loop Necklace
Suitable for persons wearing a hearing aid. Whilst wearing the necklace, switch your hearing aid to the T setting and the sound is amplified.
Headset
Sound is amplified through headphones. Suitable for persons without a hearing aid.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
There are accessible toilets on all three levels of the venue.
