Over the course of one day on a busy street corner, the two find unexpected camaraderie in their situation and end up learning a great deal from each other. Henry finally faces his estrangement from both his family and his once cherished career as a music teacher, whilst Rose struggles to return to a home that won’t accept her identity. As their individual plans are subjected to the unpredictable ways of the world, they uncover the importance of kindness and understanding, not only to others, but to yourself.
