Direct from the West End and endorsed by Rod’s own family, join us on a musical journey that spans six decades from humble beginnings in the R ‘n’ B clubs through to world-famous rock sensation. Every song is performed with swaggering showmanship by charismatic front man, Paul Metcalfe, alongside authentic costumes and sensational live musicians.

Some Guys Have All the Luck - The Rod Stewart Story

Paul explains: “Rod’s music brings back a lot of memories for people, and everyone can remember the first time they heard Maggie May. Rod has such an amazing back catalogue of songs and such variety as well. Wonderful ballads, joyful upbeat songs and some great rockers.”

This phenomenal show will have you hooked from the very beginning and audiences will not be able to resist smash hits such as ‘Maggie May’, ‘Do Ya Think I’m Sexy’, ‘Baby Jane’, ‘Sailing’, ‘The First Cut Is The Deepest’, ‘Tonight’s The Night’ and many more!

Paul adds: “I feel very lucky that other people seem to love it as well. When I’m on stage I go into another world and do things I wouldn’t normally dream of doing. The show has come on massively since we started. The music, the lighting, the set and the video backdrops have all come on a lot. Fortunately, the audience seems to agree.”

Don’t miss your chance to sing along to classic anthems and an evening of rock ‘n’ roll perfection!

What the critics say

I've seen some 'Rods' in my time, but Paul is the best one I've ever seen.
- Don Stewart (Rod Stewart's brother)
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Paul's voice and mannerisms were the closest I've ever seen to Rod himself.
- Mary Cady (Rod Stewart's Sister)

Originally The New Theatre, it opened on Boxing Day, 1912. It went through several iterations, being renamed once before becoming the Opera House in 1920. It's also been used for different functions; as a cinema in WW2, then a bingo hall before reopening as a theatre again in 1984. Since, it has hosted magnificent shows like Barnum and Phantom of the Opera.
