New Victoria Theatre, Woking

The New Victoria Theatre is one of the South East’s leading venues for live performance. With state-of-the-art facilities, excellent acoustics and clear sightlines, the theatre has welcomed world-class entertainment since its opening in 1992, including productions from the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures.

Entrance

The New Victoria Theatre has two entrances: one via Level 1 of the Peacocks Centre, and a second via Gloucester Square, opposite Woking Borough Council offices and next to Woking Library.

By car
Woking is easily accessible by car via the M25 motorway or the A3. There are various parking facilities in and around the town centre, providing convenient options for those travelling by car. Additionally, Woking is approximately 30-40 minutes' drive from London, depending on traffic conditions.
By train
Woking is well-connected by train, with regular services running from London Waterloo, taking approximately 25-30 minutes. There are also direct train services from other major cities such as Portsmouth, Basingstoke, and Southampton. Upon arrival at Woking train station, the New Victoria Theatre is a 5-minute walk.
By bus
There is limited space for coach drop off directly outside the theatre, which is reserved for groups with mobility issues. Please contact the Groups Hotline (0333 009 5386) for a permit for this space, or for alternative coach parking information.
Sustainable travel

Bike racks are available in Gloucester Square, directly outside the theatre entrance. EV charging points are also available in the Victoria Place Red Car Park, located a short walk from the venue.

While there is no on-site parking at the theatre, there are several car parks within walking distance, including Victoria Place (Red, Green, Blue and Yellow) Car Parks (GU21 6GQ), which are closest to our Peacocks Centre entrance, and Brewery Road Car Park (GU21 4ND), which is closest to our Gloucester Square entrance.
