Surbiton High School is delighted to be performing Little Shop of Horrors as part of a four-show run at Richmond Theatre. The production will feature a cast of over 125 pupils, including Prep pupils from Year 4 and Year 5, and Senior pupils from Year 8 to Year 13.
Following past performances of shows such as High School Musical, Wind in the Willows and Chicago, this one promises to be our most energised, large-scale and blood-thirsty musical production yet!
This year’s performances will transport you to Skid Row in 1960s Los Angeles. They will feature stunning sets and costumes which are being created by the School’s Art and D&T Departments, original choreography, a live band (including a large number of student musicians), as well as a range of exciting characters, brought to life by our talented young performers.
Surbiton High School is delighted to be producing this dazzling musical and we look forward to seeing you “somewhere that’s green” in November.
Richmond Theatre
One of the oldest surviving theatres designed by iconic architect Frank Matcham, Richmond Theatre has sat in the heart of the local community since 1899.
The beautiful Grade II-listed venue presents a wide range of quality shows, from pre- and post-West End Drama to record-breaking musicals, opera, dance and family entertainment.
The theatre is also a popular filming location, having been used for film and TV including Finding Neverland, Bugsy Malone, Killing Eve and Ted Lasso.
