Go Dance is back featuring 45 energetic and innovative new works from dance groups from across Scotland. The festival provides a performance platform for dancers and dance artists to make, share and celebrate their work and after a break last year, it returns with an invigorated programme of original bite-size new works.
Go Dance opens up the Theatre Royal stage to community groups, schools, colleges and emerging choreographers and shines a light on the rich creativity and talent within the dance community. If you live, breathe and love dance and want to be part of this dynamic festival then we want to hear from you.
Opened in 1867, Theatre Royal Glasgow went through two fires before the turn of the century. Standing tall through thick and thin, the theatre has since presented a wide variety of productions covering all genres, including residents Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet. Featuring a Victorian auditorium, Theatre Royal presents first class entertainment.
