Following the unfortunate Covid induced postponement of Belinda’s tour in 2021 we now have all the rescheduled shows firmly in place and, to make up for the wait, we are very pleased to announce that Belinda is going to be joined on this tour by some very special guests: The Christians
Belinda says “I was so upset at being forced to postpone my tour last year that I was determined to try and find a way to make it up to my fans…..so this is what we came up with! I am thrilled that The Christians will now be my special guests on this tour and I hope you all feel the same way. They are a fantastic band with a ton of hits and between us we intend to take the roof off! I can’t wait to see you all in February”
New Theatre Oxford
There has been a theatre on George Street for almost 185 years. The first theatre was built in 1836, and a second in 1886. In 1908, the Dorrill family took over the venue and finally in 1934, the third Theatre opened; the ‘New Theatre’. Stanley Dorrill masterminded the rebuilding of the theatre as we know it today. He commissioned a new building from the well-known theatre architects William and T.R. Milburn of Sunderland. The Milburns developed the decadent art-deco interior with T.P Bennett and Sons, who also designed the Saville Theatre in London.
