Motorpoint Arena Nottingham

We are the Nottingham Arena, now known as the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, a world-class entertainment venue located in the heart of Nottingham city centre. Built between 1998 and 2000, as part of the National Ice Centre complex, we’ve become a cultural landmark and a hub for live entertainment in the East Midlands, attracting visitors from across the region and even internationally.

We believe that the joy of live performances should be accessible to all, and we're committed to removing barriers so everyone can enjoy entertainment in a comfortable, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

Getting around

Step free access and wheelchairs
The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is fully accessible with flat access, lifts to all floors, and automated doors in most areas.
Accessible seating is available within the arena bowl and Hospitality Suites. Alternating blocks have easily accessed viewing platforms where wheelchair users, companions and customers with mobility issues can enjoy excellent views of the stage.
These seats are situated in open areas and on the same level as the concourse, so there are no steps to navigate. All accessible seating is located near exits and toilets.
Limited stairs or stairs free access

Other seating is available in other areas of the venue for those who do not mind using steps.

Lift

Lifts operate to all floors within the venue and are wide enough to accommodate a standard wheelchair.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome at the venue, but please be aware that noise levels can be high during some events.

Enjoying the show

Accessible toilets
Accessible toilet facilities are within easy reach of any location inside the venue, as well as a dedicated Changing Places facility.
Located on Level 3 of our venue and accessible via the main foyer lifts, our Changing Places facility includes the following facilities:
-A mobile height adjustable changing bench
-A ceiling track hoist system to lift people between wheelchairs and the toilet/changing bench
-Enough space to ensure the bench and toilet can be approached from either side
Services for D/deaf and hard of hearing audiences
A hearing assistance system is installed within the main arena bowl for customers with a hearing impairment. This is accessed via an infra-red headset available from the Box Office during events. Please note customers will be asked to sign out a headset which is to be returned at the end of the show to a member of staff and the hearing assistance system is only available in certain seating locations.
We also offer a hearing loop that can be connected to a hearing aid, in selected seating locations. These need to be booked in advanced so we can ensure the hearing loop is working correctly in your chosen seat.
We offer a bookable BSL service for most shows held at the arena, for more information check the event page for the event you are looking to book for.
