Nights you don't want to miss
- One Night OnlyThis event is only on for one night!
To mark this extraordinary milestone, The Archers is stepping out of the studio and onto the stage for a very special national tour. Hosted by comedian and superfan Angela Barnes and set at the beloved Ambridge Flower & Produce Show, this landmark event brings your favourite cast into the spotlight with live performances, on-the-spot sound effects and unforgettable moments from the BBC archives.

Along the way, you’ll have the chance to test your knowledge in The Bull Pub Quiz, sing along to the famous theme tune and watch our archivist field the toughest trivia true fans can muster.
There will also be the opportunity to put your own questions to the cast - ever wondered how Brian Aldridge sleeps at night after a lifetime of infidelity? Or what Natasha’s next brilliant business idea will be? - and enjoy behind-the-scenes revelations that Lynda Snell herself would be proud to draw out. And, in true Ambridge fashion, expect a little Flower & Produce Show chaos before the night is through.

Edinburgh Playhouse

Although designed as a variety theatre, the Edinburgh Playhouse opened in 1929 as Scotland’s second largest cinema. It was hugely successful and remained so until the downturn in cinema attendance in the early 70s. When it closed in November 1973, the building was at risk of demolition, but following several years of public ‘save the Playhouse’ campaigns it was eventually saved. It reopened in 1980 as the fully functional theatre it was always intended to be. Since then, it has hosted some of the world's biggest music and stand-up comedy acts including, Elton John, The Who, Nick Cave, Kevin Bridges and Tim Minchin and international hit musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, We Will Rock You, Wicked, Matilda and Disney’s The Lion King.
