For one night only Platform Presents are producing their third Poetry Gala, with stars of the stage and screen reading the world’s favourite poems, to raise funds for a new Playwright’s Prize.
Readers include Juliet Stevenson, Rhys Ifans, Denise Gough, Jason Watkins, Romola Garai, Tobias Menzies, Kyle Soller, Lindsay Duncan, James Massiah, Phoebe Fox, Danny Kirrane, Adrianna Bertola, Dougray Scott, Genevieve O’Reilly, John Standing, Jaime Winstone, Nicholas Pinnock, Gala Gordon, Paapa Essiedu, George Mackay, Emily Berrington, Sebastian de Souza and many more.
A collection of classic and contemporary poems will be read on the evening. We are unable to release the programme ahead of the event.

There are 3 steps in the foyer through the main doors - a ramp is available. The Box Office has a separate entrance to the right of the main doors. There are 4 steps to the Stalls, 28 steps to the Dress Circle and 82 steps to the Upper Circle. All staircases have handrails. There is hard flooring in the foyer for wheeled traffic. The Theatre opens 90 mins before the performance start time. The auditorium opens 30 mins before the performance start time.

If you are a wheelchair user, your carer/companion will be required to move your wheelchair up and down the ramps provided in the venue.
A ramp will be provided to cover the three steps in the venue’s Foyer in order to access the accessible toilet, as shown below:

If your wheelchair space is located in C23-24 Stalls you will be required to access the Stalls via an entrance in Craven Street. A team member will assist with this however your carer/companion will be expected to move the wheelchair over the platform provided when using this entrance/exit.
There are Bars in the Foyer, Basement, Dress Circle and Upper Circles.

Guide dogs are permitted in the auditorium at the end of a row in the stalls. Staff are happy to dog sit during the performance.
There is an access toilet in the foyer, adapted for wheelchair use. Non-adapted toilets are in the Basement Bar, Dress Circle, and Upper Circle.
