Participants will work with Jen Caldwell - former West End SIX Swing - to explore just what makes this musical iconic! A fun masterclass tailored to this age range, participants will explore dance, drama and song.

The session will support children to develop a range of performance skills, to make for a fun, comprehensive performance foundation and build confidence. Workshops will take place in our front of house areas at the theatre.

These sessions are suitable for beginners - intermediates, but no experience necessary! Participants should bring comfy clothes that they can comfortably move around in!

If your young person has access needs, please get in touch with the Creative Learning Team before booking if you have not done so already via email: [email protected] so we can best support you with this experience.

The Palace Theatre of Varieties opened on Whit Monday 1891 and cost its owners the then colossal sum of £40,500. In the late 1970’s the Palace Theatre underwent a major refurbishment and re-opened in 1981 with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar and has since then retained its position as the premier provincial touring venue.
