With a desire to entertain, backed up by their exceptional musicianship, the band is built on the music of early jazz stars Clarence Williams, Bix Beiderbecke, Jelly Roll Morton, King Oliver and the early Louis Armstrong bands.

In 2018, the venue underwent an extensive refurbishment and reverted to its original name, The Alexandra.
