Grand Opera House York
Attitude Dance Club (ADC) is a local dance club based primarily in Copmanthorpe. ADC have been delivering show stopping dance performances since 2005 with Street, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop and many other styles.
With almost 200 members aged 3 to 45, ADC is run by local Choreographer Lesley Hill, who has also choreographed successful musicals such as "We Will Rock You", "Ghost", The Full Monty" and many others with the highly acclaimed York Stage Musicals company.
ADC's annual performances are renowned for their high energy end of year shows that are staged at the York's Grand Opera House, with additional features such as educational dance pieces and an annual feature for a local charity. This year's beneficiary is Help For Heroes.
Attitude Rising is staged this year on 22nd June with a matinee at 14:30 and evening performance at 19:30.

Grand Opera House York
Not originally intended to be a theatre, the buildings that comprise the Grand Opera House York officially opened in 1902 with Little Red Riding Hood starring Florrie Ford. Since then it has been owned by FJ Butterworth, the Shepherd of Shambles and the India Pru Co. Ltd who spent £4,000,000 restoring the theatre to its former glory in 1987.
