Our Academy offers training and skills development in key musical theatre disciplines – acting, singing, dance and performance professionalism. Sessions take young people on a journey of creativity and theatre craft and help to build confidence, teamwork and presentation skills at the same time.
ATG INSPIRE Academy Sunderland is open to all abilities. No experience necessary and the class can be tailored to accommodate a range of needs.
Fees are £19.50 a week, paid half termly.

Sunderland Empire
Vesta Tilley laid the foundation stone of what is now the Sunderland Empire on 29 September 1906 and took to the stage on 1 July 1907 to officially declare the theatre open. Masterminded by two of the contemporary heads of British theatre, Edward Moss and Oswald Stoll, the Sunderland Empire Theatre has undergone many changes since it opened but remains the North East’s premier entertainment venue.
