Upon arrival, you can enjoy a complimentary selected house drink and programme on us, before heading to your seats to watch the show.
After the performance, you will be taken to our Nova Cinema's Red Lounge to meet selected members of the cast and have an opportunity to have a photo taken on your own device.

Art in the Auditorium

Step behind the scenes and into the story of our historic Edinburgh Playhouse.
This exclusive free ATG+ event begins with a short talk exploring the rich history of the Edinburgh Playhouse, and a chance to stand on our world-famous stage, getting a full perspective of our auditorium. Then, take a seat and take your time, enjoy a one-hour sketching session capturing the view from an artist’s perspective, no experience is needed but please do bring your own notebook and pencil.
For this session our stage will be set for Matilda the Musical, giving you the chance to capture Miss Honey’s classroom from our circle level of our auditorium.

Visit our new Priority Club Bar at the Palace Theatre from 12pm - 1pm to collect two posters of your choice, included in your entry fee.
Please note that poster stock is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Only two posters can be collected per ticket.

In celebration of Scottish Opera’s The Marriage of Figaro this May, members are invited on an exclusive behind-the-scenes visit to the Company’s Production Studios, including the costume department and workshops.
Discover the artistry and craftsmanship behind Scottish Opera's extraordinary props, sets and costumes as you explore how operas are brought to life, and get a glimpse of the magic before it reaches the stage. The tour will run for approximately 45 mins, and will be followed by refreshments.

The Alexandra Open Day: ATG+ Exclusive Access

This May, The Alexandra, Birmingham turns 125 - and to mark the beginning of a celebratory year, the theatre will open its doors for a free Open Day from 11am – 3pm.
There’s plenty of fun in store for attendees of all ages, including craft activities with Artist & Designer Garry Jones, technical demonstrations in flying, lighting and sound, theatre tours and face painting. There will also be the opportunity for history lovers to uncover the theatres rich archive ahead of a big birthday year with the venue’s historian.
Our theatre tours are always extremely popular, and as an ATG+ member you are invited to access our building 30 minutes earlier at 10.30am to enjoy the first tour of the day or explore our building freely ahead of the crowds.
