Along with her autobiography The Happy Hoofer, sheisthe author of the top ten Sunday Times bestselling novels in the Nice Trilogy.

Joined by a special guest, Celia will share her memorable stories live on stage. Then, with Fidelis Morgan, the book’s researcher, she will delve into the background of her heart-warming and dramatic novel intricately woven from real-life events, where a group of courageous women find themselves working alongside GI soldiers, forging bonds that transcend borders and defy the ravages of war. Set between wartime Liverpool and London, these special publication events at Liverpool Playhouse and Richmond Theatre will bring their captivating stories to life.

One of the oldest surviving theatres designed by iconic architect Frank Matcham, Richmond Theatre has sat in the heart of the local community since 1899.

The beautiful Grade II-listed venue presents a wide range of quality shows, from pre- and post-West End Drama to record-breaking musicals, opera, dance and family entertainment.
