His Majesty's Theatre
His Majesty’s Theatre is a historic West End venue on Haymarket, originally built in 1897 by architect Charles J. Phipps for actor‑manager Herbert Beerbohm Tree. Known for its wide stage and Grade II* listed architecture, it has hosted landmark Shakespeare productions, major premieres, and long‑running musicals. Today, it's best recognised as the London home of The Phantom of the Opera, with a capacity of 1,216 across four levels.
