This course would be an opportunity to get a chance to engage with the many different roles off-stage and how you could fit into a backstage role, over the course of the week you would be exploring different departments, skills, and workshops. Experiencing the magic behind the curtain for the first time, working with experienced people in the industry, practical workshops to get hands-on experience over the week. The areas we would explore and work in may include:

• Lighting

• Sound

• Stage Management

• Company Management

• Producing

• Set Design

• Flying and Fly Systems

• Technical and Buildings

(These are subject to change due to access to venues.)

All these areas help get your favourite theatre moments come together time and time again, come see first-hand how it all happens and how you could do it too!

Our attendees will also go see a matinee performance on Wednesday 12th April of an ATG West End show, this may affect the end time of the Wednesday session.

Our Work in Theatre: Technical Masterclasses workshops are not Work Experience.
