Join us for a uniquely powerful evening with Dr Jane Goodall DBE, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace. A legendary ethologist and conservationist, Jane will share stories from her early life and the 91-year journey that has reshaped our understanding of the natural world.
On 14 July 1960, at the age of 26 and armed with nothing but a notebook, binoculars and boundless curiosity, Jane arrived on the shores of Gombe, Tanzania, opening an unprecedented window into the lives of our closest relatives: the wild chimpanzees living in those forests.
From her pioneering discoveries in Gombe to her global campaigns for animals, people, and the environment, Jane’s legacy is still unfolding. This rare West End appearance marks 65 years since that first remarkable journey—a moving reflection on a life of courage, discovery, activism and unshakeable hope.
In conversation with a special guest interviewer, Jane will share stories from her early life, her journey to Tanzania, and the growth of the Jane Goodall Institute’s global programmes, including Roots & Shoots, the humanitarian and environmental movement now empowering thousands of young people in more than 75 countries.
This event will support the vital work of the Jane Goodall Institute UK, making this not only a celebration, but also an opportunity to be part of Jane’s legacy.
80% of net profits from ticket sales will be donated to the Jane Goodall institute (charity number 327858) by the Producers (Fane) and Kruger Cown Ltd.

It all started in 1772 when the Society of Arts founded a room for exhibitions and concerts near the site of the current building. Since this beginning the Lyceum Theatre has displayed a chameleon tendency, adapting to changing fashions and needs admirably.
Now home to Disney’s ‘The Lion King,’ an average 760,000 patrons enjoy the Lyceum’s hospitality every year. You’ll find the Lyceum Theatre stood grandly in the heart of London’s West End, just minutes away from Covent Garden. Buy your Lyceum tickets from the official online box office today.
