A group of extraordinary women, members of a very ordinary Yorkshire WI, spark a global phenomenon by persuading one another to pose for a charity calendar with a difference! As interest snowballs, the Calendar Girls find themselves revealing more than they'd ever planned...

A very British story, with a very British heart, Calendar Girls is based on an uplifting and very inspiring true story that is quirky, poignant and hilarious.

Pick Me Up Theatre are proud to present the York Premiere of Tim Firth's Calendar Girls. In association with St Leonard's Hospice we hope to raise valuable funds to support their wonderful organisation.

Venue Access Information

There is disabled access to the stalls level auditorium and bar via Kings Street. We also have allocated spaces for wheelchairs chairs on the end of row H and N. These will need to be requested at the time of booking.
A Sennheiser Infra Red Hearing System is available for people with hearing impairments. Please collect a headset from Front of House staff.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
We have a disabled toilet in the stalls, located by the disabled access point.
