We’re delighted to announce that we are reuniting the cast from last year’s critically acclaimed panto Cinderella. The cast were such a huge hit and we have changed the title to Aladdin to better match their talents both as individuals and as a team.
One of Scotland’s finest comediennes and King’s panto favourite Karen Dunbar will play a new role, Slave of the Ring, Stand Up and Capital Scotland’s Des Clarke returns has the loveable yet loopy Wishee Washee, son to Widow Twankey played by Gordon Cooper who was last seen as an awfy Ugly Sister alongside panto stalwart Gavin Mitchell who this year will be pure dead evil Abanazar. Completing the cast we are thrilled to welcome back Steven McNicoll as a Palace Guard, Kieran Brown as Aladdin, Jenny Douglas as Princess Jasmine and John Ramage as The Emperor.
An audience favourite, Aladdin promises to build on last year’s production, widely hailed as the best for many years, with a new script, costumes and will contain all the magical ingredients which makes the King’s the only place to be this festive season.
