Yes, Prime Minister - Tour

Direct from the West End!

Best New Comedy - WhatsOnStage

Following two sell-out West End seasons, Yes, Prime Minister comes to the Bristol Hippodrome for 1 week only.

The original writers of the classic BBC TV series, Antony Jay and Jonathan Lynn have reunited for this anniversary production and now the Prime Minister Jim Hacker and his Cabinet Secretary Sir Humphrey Appleby are back in this hilarious new play.

In a world of spin, BlackBerrys and ‘sexed up’ dossiers, the PM is staring disaster in the face. The country is on the brink of financial meltdown and the Government’s only apparent salvation comes from a morally dubious deal with the Foreign Minister of Kumranistan. Will Jim Hacker and his team of advisors be able to rescue the country from the edge?

**** 'The audience loved it. A hit.’
Daily Mail

‘Jim Hacker and Sir Humphrey are back in truly vintage form. As politically sharp and blissfully funny as ever.’
Daily Telegraph

Coach Parking
Coach pick up/ set down facilities during matinee performances

Bristol City Council and The Bristol Hippodrome have recognised the need for temporary coach drop off and pick up facilities during matinee performances at The Bristol Hippodrome. The pick up element of these performances coincides with evening rush hour and can cause problems with coaches blocking traffic lanes and causing severe congestion around the central area. A leaflet is available which provides details of temporary areas that coaches can drop off and pick up without affecting the flow of traffic around the centre and should be read in conjunction with Bristol’s long stay coach parking facilities leaflet available at www.travelbristol.org/coach-parking

Please take note of the waiting limits at these temporary sites, as they will be patrolled by Civil Enforcement Officers to ensure they are used as intended.
