Jim Smith

From performing at the Young Farmer's panto to packing out venues up and down Scotland, Perthshire beef and sheep farmer Jim Smith's meteoric rise has seen him appear on Scot Squad and Breaking the News, as well as create his own hugely popular series, The Farm, and record a one hour stand up special for the BBC. His tales of rural life are loved by townies and teuchters alike and his 2019 debut tour was a total sell out.

Janey Godley

The Godmother of Scottish comedy is famous for her stand up, satirical voiceovers and anti‐Trump activism. Janey has been performing for over 20 years, including television and radio appearances on top show like Have I Got News for You and Breaking the News, regular sold out shows at Edinburgh and Glasgow comedy festivals and over 40 million hits online.

Fern Brady

One of the most exciting new performers to emerge from the Scottish scene in recent years, Fern Brady has been named by Vogue as one of Britain's five best female comedians and racked up an impressive list of credits including BBC's Live at the Apollo and Frankie Boyle's New World Order, BBC Radio 4's News Quiz and The Now Show, and Channel 4's 8 out of 10 Cats.

Stuart Mitchell

Stuart Mitchell's critically acclaimed live shows have seen him perform at comedy festivals in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne, and receive an endorsement from none other than Hollywood actor Will Ferrell in Los Angeles. The longest running panellist on BBC Radio Scotland's Breaking the News, he has also written for BBC shows including Mock the Week, The Now Show and The Loser World Cup.

Stephen Buchanan

BBC New Comedy Award and Scottish Comedian of the Year winner Stephen Buchanan is quickly making a name for himself with television and radio appearances including Comedy Underground (BBC Scotland), The Now Show (BBC Radio 4), The DriveTime Show (BBC Radio 2), The Arts Hour (BBC World Service); and writing credits from award‐winning panel show Breaking the News (BBC Radio Scotland) and BBC Scotland's online sketch series Short Stuff.

Jamie Macdonald

Britain’s premier blind comedian, writer and voice over artist, Jamie McDonald has taken six shows to the Edinburgh Fringe and appeared on the award‐winning BBC comedy Scot Squad, BBC Radio 4’s Fred at the Stand, and BBC Scotland’s Comedy Underground. He was the first ever blind comedian to appear on a TV panel show and has previously been invited to speak at the world famous Oxford Student Union.

King’s Theatre Glasgow opened in 1904 and has played host to top stars and shows ever since. The King's provides Glasgow's flourishing amateur groups with a high profile stage and was the location for the opening ceremony of Glasgow's European City of Culture events in 1990.
