Remembering the Movies

Professional dancers and Strictly Come Dancing stars Aljaž Škorjanec and Janette Manrara are back with a brand new tour that celebrates some of Hollywood’s greatest films.

Remembering the Movies follows their hit tour Remember Fred, which celebrated the iconic actor, singer and dancer Fred Astaire. Now, Remembering the Movies will take audiences on a journey through some of the most successful, Oscar-winning and memorable films of all time.

From the Golden Age of Hollywood to the modern mega musical, expect tributes to the likes of Audrey Hepburn, Gene Kelly and Marilyn Monroe, and film as diverse as Saturday Night Fever, The Greatest Showman, La La Land, the James Bond franchise and Cabaret.

Supported by an incredible cast of live singers and dancers, Strictly’s favourite couple will take you on a rollercoaster ride of filmic greats – expect dazzling choreography, imaginative sets, spectacular backdrops and incredible routines.

Aljaž and Janette joined the roster of Strictly Come Dancing’s professionals in 2013. Aljaž won their debut series, partnering with model Abby Clancy; he has since partnered with the likes of Alison Hammond, Helen George, Daisy Lowe and Gemma Atkinson. Janette’s celebrity partners have included Peter Andre, Julien McDonald and Aston Merrygold – she came fifth in series 12 partnering with Eastenders actor Jake Wood.

Both of them return for the 2018 series.
