The band’s previous tour in support of Bright Magic culminated in a sold-out show at London’s Brixton Academy, and they are delighted to be back out on the road with another run of shows.

Bright Magic debuted at number 2 in the U.K. albums chart and featured the 6Music A-listed singles Blue Heaven, People, Let’s Dance and Im Licht.

this is a fine, fine album which cements PSB's reputation as a vital act right at the top of their game
- Clash
Easily PSB’s most ambitious, leftfield and majestic work to date. This glorious creative peak - their magnum opus - is going to be a hard one to top

What the critics say

Bright Magic flourishes at its most calm and erupts at its most fervent, lending itself neatly to a state of anxious tension, sonically chronicling the faded walk back from the club, when dawn and dusk blur into irrelevance

There has been a theatre on George Street for almost 185 years. The first theatre was built in 1836, and a second in 1886. In 1908, the Dorrill family took over the venue and finally in 1934, the third Theatre opened; the ‘New Theatre’. Stanley Dorrill masterminded the rebuilding of the theatre as we know it today. He commissioned a new building from the well-known theatre architects William and T.R. Milburn of Sunderland. The Milburns developed the decadent art-deco interior with T.P Bennett and Sons, who also designed the Saville Theatre in London.
