Join the Sunday Post gang in a brand new musical adventure celebrating over 80 years as Scotland’s most beloved comic strip.
Martin Quinn (currently starring in Peter Gynt at The National Theatre of Great Britain) will bring Oor Wullie to life on stage with Dundee Rep Ensemble actors Anne Louise Ross (best known to families as Grannie Island in the BBC’s Katie Morag), Irene Macdougall, Bailey Newsome as Soapy Soutar and Leah Byrne as Primrose. Dan Buckley and Grant McIntyre will join Martin on stage as lifelong pals Fat Boab and Wee Eck respectively with Leanne Traynor as a reimagined Basher Mackenzie and George Brennan completing this superb cast.
The show is written by the award-winning writing partnership Noisemaker who are delighted to be continuing their collaboration with Dundee Rep in partnership with internationally acclaimed Selladoor Worldwide.
Opened in 1867, Theatre Royal Glasgow went through two fires before the turn of the century. Standing tall through thick and thin, the theatre has since presented a wide variety of productions covering all genres, including residents Scottish Opera and Scottish Ballet. Featuring a Victorian auditorium, Theatre Royal presents first class entertainment.
