This masterclass is for young performers aged 8 - 12, and will take place around our iconic venue, The Palace Theatre, Manchester and is inspired by the shows on our stages.
The course is led by industry professionals, who will support children to develop a range of performance skills, dance vocal coaching and drama, to make for a comprehensive performance foundation and build confidence.
The course will run over Monday 5 and Tuesday 6 August from 10:00 - 15:30 (two days).
Young people must be available for both days. Workshops will take place in our front of house areas at the theatre and include a backstage tour of the venue.
This session is suitable for beginners - intermediates, but no experience necessary!

The Palace Theatre of Varieties opened on Whit Monday 1891 and cost its owners the then colossal sum of £40,500. In the late 1970’s the Palace Theatre underwent a major refurbishment and re-opened in 1981 with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Jesus Christ Superstar and has since then retained its position as the premier provincial touring venue.
