Production shot

Based on the 2005 film, of the same name, and inspired by true events this sensational feel-fabulous show takes us from the factory floors of Northampton all the way to the catwalks of Milan on a journey of fighting for what’s right, acceptance and choosing between duty and destiny.

Kinky Boots features a score by the award winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper and a book by Broadway comedy legend Harvey Fierstein.

York Stage, the producers who brought Shrek the Musical, Hairspray and Sister Act to the Grand Opera House present another new production of a smash hit musical, Kinky Boots. So everybody “Say Yeah” and join us in the “Land of Lola” as we learn how to “Be who you wanna be” this Autumn!
