Julie Madly Deeply

James Seabright by arrangement with One Eyed Man Productions presents

Julie Madly Deeply

Written and performed by Sarah-Louise Young
Accompanied by musical director Michael Roulston
Directed by Russell Lucas

Adored by millions, Dame Julie Andrews is a genuine legend of showbiz around the globe. This charming yet cheeky cabaret takes an engaging look at fame and fandom, through the eyes and voice of award-winning singer, West End actress and Fascinating Aïda star Sarah-Louise Young, who has been named by TimeOut as one of London’s Top Ten cabaret performers.

Julie’s songs from musicals including Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady are intertwined with stories and anecdotes about Andrews’ own life, from her beginnings as a child star to the recent challenges of losing her famous singing voice. What emerges is a delightfully funny and candid love letter to a true show business survivor.

This newly extended version of the show comes to the West End’s most intimate venue for just six weeks. An irresistible Christmas treat!

**** ‘A tour-de-force from a terrifically talented trouper.’
Time Out

‘This quick-witted, love-filled slice of creative cabaret needs to be seen.’
The Times

‘Joyous! For anyone who has ever sung along with Julie Andrews.’
The Guardian

***** ‘Deliriously wonderful cabaret. More than just a fan letter: a must see for Andrews fans and enthusiasts everywhere.’
ThreeWeeks

**** 'Even your critic found herself, unprecedentedly, singing along. My cheeks hurt with smiling.'
The Telegraph

**** 'The hills are alive with the sound of singalongs and gags in this witty, affectionate tribute'
The Evening Standard

**** 'Dame Julie, you suspect, would approve. This is an evening that ends in triumph, not in tears.'
The Times

**** 'Perfect not just for Julie Andrews nuts but also as a Christmas seltzer for musical theatre fans.'
Daily Mail
