John is very much looking forward to this new adventure, this will be his eighth stand up show and it’s shaping up to be his best yet! John can’t wait to be back on the road again.

John has achieved huge success with a number of his own comedy, entertainment and documentary shows including John Bishop’s Australia (BBC1), John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1); John Bishop’s Only Joking (Sky1); The John Bishop Show (BBC1); The John Bishop Christmas Show (BBC1) and John Bishop’s Gorilla Adventure (ITV1). More recently John Bishop’s Ireland for ITV1 and four series of John Bishop: In Conversation With… which sees him chatting, one to one with some of the UK’s biggest names.

Box Office opens at 12:00 and closes 15 minutes after show start. On non performance days, Box Office closes at 4pm.
If there is a performance on a Sunday or Bank Holiday, Box Office will open 2 hours before show start, and close 15 minutes after the show start.
There is a large air-conditioned bar with seating located below the Stalls foyer, two furhter bars in the Circle Foyer and one at the back of the balcony. All stocked with an array of drinks and snacks.
Avoid the queues and be our guest in the Ambassador lounge. Add some sparkle to your night out and enjoy a show with bespoke service.

There has been a theatre on George Street for almost 185 years. The first theatre was built in 1836, and a second in 1886. In 1908, the Dorrill family took over the venue and finally in 1934, the third Theatre opened; the ‘New Theatre’. Stanley Dorrill masterminded the rebuilding of the theatre as we know it today. He commissioned a new building from the well-known theatre architects William and T.R. Milburn of Sunderland. The Milburns developed the decadent art-deco interior with T.P Bennett and Sons, who also designed the Saville Theatre in London.
