Intermediate Guide to Shakespeare

The Intermediate Guide to Shakespeare is a response to the popular Beginner’s Guide to Shakespeare. Through analysis and a more thorough execution, Joe Arkley an experienced RSC actor, will guide us through trickier passages of text; whilst putting them into context and exploring the reasons why Shakespeare might have been writing it at the time. Joe will be pushing the participants to take a much more experimental approach - as you would experience in the rehearsal room and encourage participants to break away from fixed notions of how a speech or scene has to be delivered.

21st – 22nd March 2017 Tues – Weds 10.30hrs – 16.30hrs
