Following two critically acclaimed tours and a West End run, Footloose is back and better than ever with the incredible Gareth Gates (ITV's Pop Idol, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Les Misérables, Loserville, Legally Blonde) returning to give a "faultless" performance as loveable cowboy Willard (Manchester Evening News) and the
legendary Darren Day (TV personality and star of numerous West End and National tours including Mame, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Grease and Summer Holiday).
Based on the 1980s screen sensation which took the world by storm, Footloose sizzles with spirit, fun and the best in UK musical talent. With cutting edge modern choreography, you'll enjoy classic 80s hits including Holding Out for a Hero, Almost Paradise, Let's Hear It For The Boy and of course the unforgettable title track Footloose.
Please note: Gareth Gates will not appear on Saturday 1 May.

Originally The New Theatre, it opened on Boxing Day, 1912. It went through several iterations, being renamed once before becoming the Opera House in 1920. It's also been used for different functions; as a cinema in WW2, then a bingo hall before reopening as a theatre again in 1984. Since, it has hosted magnificent shows like Barnum and Phantom of the Opera.
