For the first time Scott's Performing Arts and New Theatre Oxford are welcoming over 100 young local performers to take to the stage in this iconic 80's musical, be ready for high energy numbers, powerhouse vocals and a performance to remember.

Fame Jr. is a high-energy coming-of-age musical following a diverse group of students at New York City's High School for the Performing Arts from 1980 to 1984. The show tracks their four-year journey, highlighting the struggles, friendships and sacrifices required to succeed in acting, music and dance.
We are delighted to announce that New Theatre Oxford will be hosting a Summer School for young performers for the very first time this year.
This exciting new programme has been created to inspire creativity, build confidence, and provide high-quality performance training in a professional theatre environment. To ensure the opportunity is accessible to as many young people as possible, we are proud to be offering a limited number of funded places for participants who may otherwise be unable to attend.
We are especially honoured to deliver this Summer School in partnership with Emily Scott and Scott’s Performing Arts. Their passion for nurturing emerging talent and commitment to inclusive arts opportunities perfectly reflect our own values.
Everyone at New Theatre Oxford is incredibly proud to bring this new initiative to our community, and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of performers through our doors this summer.
