Why go and see it?

This heartwarming tale of human kindness has taken the West End by storm, winning four Olivier Awards, including Best New Musical - book your tickets today!

After winning a Tony Award, three Drama Desk Awards and five Outer Critics Circle Awards on Broadway, Come From Away transferred to London’s Phoenix Theatre in 2019, where it continues to play to nightly standing ovations.

Production shot

An unexpected landing in the town of Gander, Newfoundland left 7,000 passengers stranded in Canada in the wake of 9/11. Here, the small Newfoundland community invited these ‘come from aways’ from all over the world into their lives. As uneasiness turned into trust and music soared into the night, gratitude grew into friendships and their stories became a celebration of humanity and unity.

A miraculous masterpiece. It’s totally, soul-feedingly wonderful.
- Time Out
A moving, irresistible show that unapologetically champions kindness.
- Financial Times
A triumph of ensemble storytelling that packs an emotional punch.
- BroadwayWorld.com

Awarded the Tony® for Best Direction of a Musical, Christopher Ashley’s production guides audiences through a colourful and spirited cast of characters, brought to life by writing team Irene Sankoff and David Hein. As well as winning the Best New Musical Olivier Award, the current London production won for Best Theatre Choreographer in Kelly Devine, for Best Sound Design in Gareth Owen, and for Outstanding Achievement in Music.

This record-breaking production also maintains concurrent sold-out engagements on Broadway, Canada, Australia, and on a 60-city tour across the USA.

“See the show in the West End - it takes all of ten seconds to be in its generous embrace. You stay there for the next 100 minutes: laughing, tapping your foot, wiping away tears, feeling good about humanity - what a rare, welcome feeling that is these days.” (The Times)
