‘Brimming with heart and irresistible charm’ (WhatsOnStage), this globetrotting romcom from the co-writer of Legally Blonde and Mean Girls is based on the record-breaking Bollywood phenomenon Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge – also known as DDLJ – and directed by the movie’s original director, Aditya Chopra.

Come Fall in Love - The DDLJ Musical

Sparks fly as Jena Pandya (Mamma Mia!, Bhangra Nation) and Ashley Day (Netflix’s Dynasty, An American in Paris) bring ‘undeniable chemistry’ (Guardian) to the tale of Simran, a young British woman whose future is all set with an arranged marriage back in India. But, as she sets off around Europe for one last summer of freedom, she soon finds herself stranded with laid-back, party-loving Roger. Now – with cultures colliding – the unlikely pair find that falling in love is just a passport to trouble…

An ‘explosion of colour, light and culture’ (I Love Manchester) with ‘glorious dancing’ (The Times) and soaring new English songs by legendary composers Vishal and Sheykhar, Come Fall in Love - The DDLJ Musical takes you on an ‘exhilarating ride’ (WhatsOnStage) from Paris and Rome to the stunning yellow mustard fields of Punjab.

It ‘leaves the audience on their feet’ (The Guardian) so don’t miss your connection - book your tickets now!

Originally The New Theatre, it opened on Boxing Day, 1912. It went through several iterations, being renamed once before becoming the Opera House in 1920. It's also been used for different functions; as a cinema in WW2, then a bingo hall before reopening as a theatre again in 1984. Since, it has hosted magnificent shows like Barnum and Phantom of the Opera.
