Woking's builders love a good Spamwich!
Approved by ATG's PR & Communications Officer, David Bradbury
King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table are continuing their quest for the Holy Grail at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking from Monday 6 – Saturday 11 February.
In honour of their arrival, the New Victoria Theatre thought that Woking’s very own knights in shining hi-vis vests - the hard working McLaughlin & Harvey builders deserved a treat fit for a King!
So they took a short break from transforming Woking’s town centre to tuck into a very special round of sandwiches...or should we say Spamwiches!
Audiences all around the world have been roaring with laughter since Monty Python’s Spamalot won a Tony Award for Best Musical in 2005. Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. The show stars stage and screen legend Bonnie Langford and Eastenders and Grange Hill stalwart Todd Carty as well as a bevy (or possibly brace) of beautiful show girls, witch burnings (cancelled due to health and safety) not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people but also the hilarious songs He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights of the Round Table, Find Your Grail and of course the Nation’s Favourite Comedy Song Always Look the Bright Side of Life. This show is funnier than the Black Death – don’t miss it!
