Approved by ATG's PR & Communications Officer, David Bradbury

New Wimbledon Theatre’s Creative Learning department will be hosting two exciting workshops this April, to run alongside two of the theatre’s top visiting productions.

The first workshop, Act For Adults on Saturday 5 April, will focus on Fiddler On The Roof, on at the theatre from 1 until 5 April. Aimed at attendees of ages 18+, this practical workshop will give budding performers the opportunity to take to the stage, discovering more about the show through new acting skills and techniques, all under the guidance of a professional director.

Secondly, Discover Opera: Aida on Saturday 12 April will run alongside Ellen Kent’s production of Aida, at the theatre on 12 April. Following on from the huge success of Opera for Beginners, this practical and theoretical workshop will introduce participants to the story of Aida, as well as teaching them how to sing and understand opera. There will also be the opportunity to hear a professional opera singer demonstrate their craft up close.
