Casting annoucement for New Victoria Theatre pantomime, Cinderella

BAFTA award-winning Cbeebies superstar Justin Fletcher will star in the spectacular and magical fairytale pantomime, Cinderella at the New Victoria Theatre, Woking this Christmas alongside beautiful TV presenter Zoe Salmon and hilarious comedian Hal Cruttenden.

The presenter and actor known for his impressive range of characters in programmes such as Something Special, Gigglebiz and Justin’s House is adored by children and parents alike and is sure to bring fun and laughter for the whole family in this magnificent show! Awarded with an MBE in 2008 and with 18 years in the business, Justin has perfected the art of entertaining and educating young audiences so is perfect for the part of the lovable Buttons in this year’s production.

Justin Fletcher: 'I am very excited to be appearing as Buttons in Cinderella at Woking this Christmas! Cinderella is my all time favourite pantomime and I look forward to lots of fun and laughter over the festive season!'

Calum Kemp, General Manager: 'We are absolutely thrilled to be welcoming the phenomenal Justin Fletcher to the New Victoria Theatre in this much-loved fairytale. He is a firm favourite in our household and I just know Woking audiences will love him so book your tickets now for a wonderful panto!'

Joining Justin as our beautiful Cinderella is Zoe Salmon. The former lawyer is best known for presenting children’s BBC television show Blue Peter where she coined the phrase ‘I’ll try anything once’ which sparked a series of challenges including everything from walking on fire to wing-walking on top of an antique bi-plane! She has also solo skydived and raced Formula 1 cars - so the Ugly Sisters are sure to be no problem for her! Zoe has also starred on the hit ITV show Dancing on Ice skating her way to the quarter finals so she’s no stranger to glitzy costumes similar to the sparkly numbers in Panto!

As Prince Charming’s aide Dandini and providing some laughter is one of the top comedians in the UK today, Hal Cruttenden. Having appeared on Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, The Royal Variety Performance and Let’s Dance for Comic Relief it’s clear to see why he was nominated for The Perrier Award.

With sumptuous sets, gorgeous fairytale costumes, riotous Panto dames, real Shetland ponies, big song and dance numbers, magic, audience participation and more casting still to be announced - this year’s Cinderella is guaranteed to be full of wonder to delight audiences of all ages!

The New Victoria Theatre in Woking boasts a modern 1,300 super comfy auditorium, excellent road and rail links, ample parking options and easy access and is proud to present Surrey’s biggest and best family Panto.
