Introducing the Luna Cinema: 2012's open air cinema season
We are delighted to announce the launch of the 2012 open air cinema season. If you have never experienced a classic film under the stars, you are in for a treat with The Luna Cinema's line up!
The idea of watching a film on a big screen at sunset in the gardens of a castle, palace or in a leafy London park is one that captivates the imagination and forces you to get your picnic hampers at the ready for a cinematic experience like no other. The Luna Cinema offers the best venues imaginable for a film screening - from the gardens of Royal Palaces such as Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace through to Leeds Castle in Kent.
The line up of films for the 2012 season includes some real gems such as Casablanca and Singin' in the Rain, through to modern classics such as The Artist. There is also a season of Royal Films at the Historic Royal Palaces in Kensington and Hampton Court with screenings of The King's Speech and The Young Victoria to name a few.
In addition there are some incredible guest appearances including Warwick Davis introducing his film Willow in Dulwich Park, Brian Blessed introducing Flash Gordon at Battersea Park and Richard O’Brien the writer and star of The Rocky Horror Show will be introducing it at Leeds Castle. They are screenings not to be missed.
