Introducing From The Fringe!

This past summer the edfringe, (Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the world's largest arts festival established in 1947), produced approximately 56,796 performances of 3,548 shows.

With an abundance of quality pieces of dance, theatre, music, comedy, magic and everything in between being performed year on year, an ever-growing profusion of talent, it became a no brainer for us that we should open the doors of our studio space to the best the Fringe has to offer. The aim behind this being to provide a certain calibre of thrilling and intimate entertainment for Merton Locals and Londoners alike. Though of course we are not limiting this to Edinburgh, with London, Camden and Brighton delivering their own equally as apt provisions, we are always on the lookout for top quality performances.

Therefore we shipped off two of our wonderful team members, (Emma and Holly) to the edfringe to search out loads of wonderful and unique productions. With the sublime shows they have selected now starting to go on sale, we present to you From The Fringe, our varied Fringe selections that we think you are going to love!

Finally we've got our panto Wishee Washee in his own solo show! Pete Firman: Marvels.

We caught up with Pete in Edinburgh to discuss all things panto in preparation for his Christmas stint with us in Aladdin (after an exceedingly popular debut last year in The Churchill Theatre, Bromley's Snow White & The Seven Dwarves). As well as demanding a comedy mangle for the performance, he also decided to bring his solo show Marvels to our studio, following the festive period.

Pete is one of the UK's most popular magicians. You've seen him on television, now experience his jaw-dropping magic live on stage! With a unique blend of comedy and magic, Pete is irrefutably the UK's leading comedy magician. Please note Marvels is a recommended 14+ and on February 1 and 2.
