Ray Quinn is a British actor, singer dancer and TV personality. Ray started his career in Channel 4 soap opera Brookside as bullied child Anthony Murray. His performance as the victimised youngster earned him multiple awards including Best Story Line and Best Dramatic performance at the 2002 British Soap Awards.
Ray left the hit soap aged 14 to concentrate on his schooling but then returned to the public eye on the hit ITV show The X Factor where he finished second to Leona Lewis. After his massive success on the show Ray appeared on the X factor arena tour and subsequently signed with Sony BMG. His debut album Doing It My Way went straight to No.1 in its first week selling over 330,000 copies and was followed by a sellout UK solo tour.
Ray then returned to our screens In 2009 when he was crowned champion of Dancing on Ice being described as the programmes best ever contestant by the shows mentors Torvill and Dean.
In recent years Ray has had massive success on the stage - starring in the West End as Billy Costeki in Dirty Dancing and in Grease as the lead role of Danny Zuko alongside his West End leading lady wife Emma Stephens. Some of Ray's other credits include the National Tour of Legally Blonde the Musical as Warner Huntington III and most recently the National Tour of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice as Billy.
