Actor Iain Fletcher has varied performance credits to his name, predominantly in the area of television. With a regular part in The Bill between 1994 and 2000, a guest lead role in Holby City and the part of Bernard J Ryan in Band of Brothers in 2001, and another regular role as Johnny Palmer in Family Affairs in 2002, the success he had in the early noughties continued through to the latter end of the decade too. He performed in Murphy’s Law, Doctors and Casualty in 2005 and, several years later, returned to the BBC both for Casualty (2009) and Doctors (2011).
Stage performances include roles in The Wax King at the Steam Factory in 1992, the part of Evan Davies in September Tide in 1999, and an appearance in the Rose Theatre’s The Three Musketeers in 2010. Musical performances include the part of Sam Carmichael in Phyllida Lloyd’s Mamma Mia (2007) and the part of Bill Sikes in Oliver! (2011), in Cameron Mackintosh’s production.
