David Stoller is currently understudying Scar, Pumbaa and Banzai for the West End Disney musical The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre. With a degree in Performing Arts, Stoller has an extremely extensive and varied resumé. He has worked on both short and feature films, in commercials and infomercials, on internet viral videos, on educational projects, in animations and with recordings, in photography shoots, on radio, and in musicals, dramas and pantomimes on stage.
A talented singer, he has performed at the West End’s London Palladium as a soloist in the musical In Our Time (2001-2002), as Dr Dillamond in the musical Wicked at the Apollo Victoria (2009), and as a Pop Star in the BBC’s Top of the Tops training video (2006). He has also repeatedly worked on the music for Les Miserables: in 2006, he took the role of Brujon, understudying lead Jean Valjean, at the Queens Theatre. In 2010, he followed this up with a part in the choir singing Les Miserables tunes at the 25th Anniversary Concert at the O2 Arena. Finally, in 2012, he has just featured in Tom Hooper’s Working Title film of Les Miserables.
