Daniel Koek is a musical actor who has performed in many of the most famous musicals around. Starting off as Nanki-Poo in a 2000 production of The Mikado, he followed this up with the famous part of Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady in 2001. The year after, again under director Graeme Tyler, he appeared as the Phantom in Highlights from the Phantom of the Opera. After several operatic performances, both in the Netherlands, he returned to musicals with a series of parts that included Berger in Hair the Musical (2005) and DJ Monty in Saturday Night Fever (2007). In 2008 he performed as Tony in Ambassador Theatre Group’s West Side Story 50th Anniversary Tour, returning to ATG in 2011 with the part of Lieutenant Joseph Cable in the Tony Award winning production of South Pacific.Read Less
