Col Farrell is an accomplished actor. He has performed in various Shakespearean roles and worked with the English Shakespeare Company and RSC, both at Stratford and The Barbican. London performances span all stage spaces, from Fringe venues The Gate Theatre and the Finborough, to the West End Arts Theatre and Duke of York’s Theatre. He has appeared in musicals such as Guys and Dolls and Kiss Me Kate (at the Sheffield Crucible Theatre and Victoria Palace respectively), most recently appeared as Ronald in the 2009 production of That Old Feeling at The Old Mill. His television career spans nearly 40 years, starting off in BBC’s Porridge in 1974, mixing it up with Midsomer Murders in 1997 and New Tricks in 2011. Most recently, he has played the leading role of Biddle in the Finborough Theatre’s 2012 revival of J.B. Priestley’s Cornelius.
