Originally from Wales, Aimee-Ffion Edwards’ career spans stage, television and film. With parts in traditional plays like The Glass Menagerie (2005) and several appearances with the National Youth Theatre of Wales, in 2008 she made it big in the London theatre scene. With a part in the Trafalgar Studios’ production of Shitmix in 2008, she went on to take the part of Phaedra in the internationally acclaimed Royal Court production of Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem, starring alongside the infamous Mark Rylance. Touring with the production to the West End Apollo Theatre and to Broadway under Ian Rickson’s directorship, she then went on to perform in Josie Rourke’s directorial debut at the Donmar Warehouse, The Recruiting Officer. Her television career has been similarly impressive: from Skins to Casualty to Law and Order, she has a very impressive list to her name, finished off with a brief appearance in the hugely popular 2010 film One Day.Read Less
