The Victoria Hall was built in 1888 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee. Built in local red brick and terracotta, the classical Grade II Listed venue originally held 2800 people, and has, over the years, been the scene of numerous concerts, wrestling contests, boxing matches and many rock gigs.

Our work includes:
02 to 011 Dance – Ten years of youth dance involving over 15000 young people and 2500 new pieces of Choreography.
Adventure Place – A ghoulish and spine chilling Youth Opera - commissions funded by the Arts Council and Make Some Noise.
The Ambassador Theatre Group is also an active member of Action for Children’s Arts and fully endorses its recent Manifesto for Children’s Arts which is inspired by Article 31 of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child:
“Every child has the right to rest and leisure, to engage in play and recreational activities appropriate to the age of the child and to participate freely in cultural life and the arts.” Action for Children’s Arts
