The Churchill’s policy is to present a comprehensive range of outstanding entertainment fulfilling the needs of local theatre-goers. The comfortable auditorium, seating up to 785, is fully air-conditioned and the theatre’s facilities include bars, refreshment kiosks and spacious foyers.
The Churchill creates its own productions, receives touring productions and hosts local amateur companies. Many Churchill productions transfer to the West End whilst others tour nationally after leaving Bromley. Recent productions include This Is Elvis, a star-studded production of Heroes, Stuart Little, Strangers On A Train.
ATG’s own producing theatre, Churchill productions are renowned for their excellence as well as for attracting leading actors including Joan Collins, Rula Lenska, David Essex, Susie Blake, Christopher Timothy, Lesley Joseph, Art Malik and Colin Baker.

There is direct access from the Foyer to Auditorium Circle for up to nine wheelchair users – please request at the time of booking. Your companion may be seated in the row in front so as not to restrict the number of spaces available to others, but will be admitted free to compensate for the inconvenience. There is also one wheelchair space in the Stalls.
People with limited mobility can ask Ticket Sales staff for their advice on the best seating arrangements.
• There is a disabled access lifting platform from the Circle Foyer to the Circle Terrace.
• For theatregoers who would prefer to sit in the Stalls a lift is available from the Circle Terrace – please ask a member of staff to escort you.
• All staircases between levels have handrails on both sides and are highlighted.
• Theatre Hosts will be happy to bring drinks to your seats during the interval.
• There is level access from the pedestrianised High Street and Churchill Way to Ticket Sales, the Circle Foyer and the Circle itself, and from Tetty Way to Stalls row F.
A Sennheiser infra-red audio system is provided for hard of hearing patrons and for audio-described performances. Headsets are subject to availability. There are two types of headsets for people who may sometimes need to rely on artificial assistance for their hearing:
• A headset which amplifies sound.
• A neck loop which transmits the audio signal directly to the hearing aid.
• There is also a loop audio system available for use at the Ticket Sales counter. To use, please turn the hearing aid to 'T' setting.
Selected performances are sign language interpreted, audio-described and captioned. These are listed in the season brochure. The brochure is also available in large print, on tape or in braille. To request a copy, or to join our access mailing list, please call 020 8464 7131.
Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
One accessible toilet is provided to the right of Ticket Sales on entering the Circle Foyer. A RADAR key is available from Ticket Sales. Please note there are no accessible facilities if you sit in the Stalls.

As well as our Main Auditorium, which can seat up to 785 delegates, we have a variety of welcoming air conditioned rooms, including 2 fully licenced bars and 1 portable bar in our Studio. Creative Learning are back for January 2012. As well as a program of outreach and creative development we also run weekly participation classes. Baby Ballet
4 week short course
Date: Saturdays from 14th January 10.30 - 11.30am
Have you got a budding dancer in your house? They can develop their confidence and creativity in this fun and friendly introduction to the basics of ballet and dance for ages 3-5 yrs.
The workshop is run by an experienced and friendly CRB-checked teacher and assistant. Children will take part in dance games, creative exercises and routines to familiar children’s music.

Naughty Toes

Naughty Toes Jazz class is a fun introduction to Jazz Dance for ages 5-7 years. Children will dance to pop and retro musical classics. They will play games, take part in step learning exercises, warm ups and learn a full routine.

Slo Motion Dance Class
Date: Tuesdays 11am - 12.30pm, Thursday 11.30 - 1.30pm
Slo Motion Dance is a dance a social class for over 60s. Come and take part in relaxation, warm ups, learning new steps and develop dance routines together. We dance to all types of music from and regularly perform together. It is a contemporary dance class, so wear loose clothing and dance shoes/slim trainers/bare feet.
Open to (age range) 60+
Cost £6 per session

Young Company 1 Youth Theatre
Date: Tuesdays term time, 5pm - 7pm
Are you interested in theatre? Then come and check out our youth theatre. Our classes meet on a weekly basis where you can come to build your confidence and your drama skills and work together to create performances for stage twice a year. It is fun and friendly and a great way to increase your drama skills and meet new people.

Young Company 2 Youth Theatre
Date: Tuesdays term time, 7.30pm - 9.30pm
For 15-18 yr olds this is a social and friendly youth theatre group with a focus on creating work for performance. You will work supported by a director and assistant director to create work using scripts, devising and using different drama techniques. You will also have the chance to attend trips to see shows out of session time.

Act One Reception Drama Class
Date: Saturdays 9.30 - 10.30am Age 5-7 years
Come and try out our drama class bright and early on a Saturday morning! This class introduces children to drama through creative play. Children will take part in fun games and warm ups, and work towards creating their own frozen pictures or small scenes to tell a story. Each term they will work on a theme and use either simple scripts or devising techniques to create an informal performance. Great fun and brilliant for developing confidence, communication skills and social skills.

Act One Beginners Drama Class
Date: Saturdays 10.45am - 12 noon (Age 8-9 years) Saturdays 12.15 - 1.45pm (Age 10-11)
Brilliant fun drama class for children. This class is focussed on developing creativity and drama skills. Each term children will work on a theme and using scripts or devising will create a new group performance, with the chance to perform on the main stage once a year. Classes consist of warm up games, skill building exercises and creative tasks to create the end performance. This class is taught by 2 experienced CRB checked teachers who help children to develop drama skills, confidence and team work skills.
