'A highway of hits that drew a rapturous response from a packed house that seemed to know every word of every song'
New Zealand press
Since emerging as an important component of the magnificent sixties British Pop Revolution, The Hollies hallmark sound has not wavered during their fifty years of recording and performing live around the world.
Frontman Peter Howarth, for instance, seems to have been grafted without a blemish to the long established rootstock of The Hollies laid down by originals Tony Hicks and Bobby Elliott, who first played together back in 1961.
Recently, The Hollies were honoured by the prestigious American Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame: ‘For their impact on the evolution, development, and perpetuation of Rock n’ Roll’.
This band helped shape the world of Rock and Pop as we know it today.
The Hollies will perform their classic hits, including The Air That I Breathe; Stop Stop Stop; Carrie Anne; Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress; Look Through Any Window; I’m Alive; Stay; Sorry Suzanne; Just One Look; On a Carousel; Bus Stop; I Can’t Let Go; He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother and many more of their gems, in a two hour celebration of all things Hollies.
Don’t miss them.
***** 'Unmissable Hollies - brilliant, brilliant, brilliant’
