After a sell out Scottish Tour in the summer of 2013, global singing sensation Susan Boyle is returning to the stage in her very first nationwide live tour, Susan Boyle In Concert in March 2014.
The 19-date tour starting on Saturday 22 March 2014 in Liverpool will see Susan performing across the country in major towns and cities.
Susan will be holding her own on the stage performing a sensational and contemporary repertoire of iconic album tracks and never heard before classics that will captivate and enthral audiences spanning the generations.
The show will comprise of songs including the now legendary I Dreamed A Dream, Wild Horses and Somewhere Over the Rainbow as well as River Deep, Mountain High, one of her all time favourites, plus a host of spectacular surprises on the night.
2013 has been an epic year for Susan with a career that has continued to go from strength to strength. Her first movie role in The Christmas Candle sees her take to the silver screen, she’s releasing her fifth album in four years, Home For Christmas as well as becoming the first Brit to be allowed to duet with Elvis posthumously. She has joined forces with Save the Children to release a Christmas charity single and completed a hugely successful Scottish tour that sold out and received rave reviews.

There are sixteen wheelchair spaces available in the auditorium. 12 in the stalls and 4 in the circle. There is lift access to all levels of the theatre. All areas of the Theatres are accessible to customers with limited mobility, including wheelchair users. There is level access from Lime Street, through into the foyer, with level access into the auditorium at both sides of the stalls. The building features wide doors, and additional toilet facilities for disabled people. One front of house lift provides access to the circle and one lift provides access to the stalls bar toilets, with appropriate seating positions available on all levels.
Liverpool Empire Theatre is equipped with an infrared sound amplification system. To access the infrared system please request receiving equipment from a member of the Front of House team who will provide you with an induction loop necklace.

Suitable for persons wearing a hearing aid, the induction loop necklace is worn around the neck. Whilst wearing the necklace, switch your hearing aid to the 'T' setting and the sound is amplified. The necklace has an adjustable volume control.
There are a number of British Sign Language Interpreted performances every season. A signer will be sited at the side of the stage. Guide, hearing and other working dogs are welcome in all parts of the theatre.
There are public toilet facilities on all levels of the theatre. There are separate, fully accessible, male and female facilities on the ground and first floors. Backstage there are accessible facilities. There is an emergency call-point in all accessible facilities, should you need to call for a member of staff.
Baby changing facilities are located in fully accessible toilets. Please ask a member of the Front of House team if you require assistance.

The Liverpool Empire Theatre is located on Lime Street and is easily accessible by road. For SATNAV use L1 1JE.
The theatre does not have its own parking facilities but Liverpool boasts many city centre car parks with reasonable rates and many are within 5 minutes walk of the theatre. The closest car parks are located at Mount Pleasant, Lord Nelson Street, Queen Square and at St John’s Shopping Centre on Lime Street. St. John’s Car Park offers discounted parking of £2.50 for patrons visiting local theatres after 6.00pm and leaving before midnight. Queen Square car park offers discounted parking of £2.00 for Liverpool Empire Theatre customers on production of a ticket stub. The rate would allow customers to park from 5.00pm to 9.00am the next day.
The Liverpool Empire Theatre is next door to Lime Street Station. Local (Wirral Line) and National rail services stop at this station. Please use the Lord Nelson Street exit for the theatre.

Important information for coach parties
Any coach, bus or mini bus dropping off and picking up from the Liverpool Empire are permitted to do so directly outside the Empire Foyer. However, under no circumstances will any mode of transport be allowed to stop or use the bus lane directly in front of the Student Halls (opposite St George’s Hall) doing so may occur penalties for obstructing public transport. Coaches will be allowed to queue for the front of the building using the inside lane (closest to the Building) on London Road until an appropriate space becomes available outside the front of the Liverpool Empire to collect or drop off their parties. We hope this will improve the safety of school children and large groups as there will be no need to cross the Lime Street carriageway at busy periods.
